Dr. Diego J. Herbstein is a neurologist in New York, New York, board certified in Neurology. He practices at NY Neurological Associates and Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Herbstein graduated from the University of Buenos Aires Medical School and completed his neurology training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident. He went on to complete a research fellowship studying neurotransmitters under Dr. Robert Katzman, followed by a fellowship in Clinical Neuropathology at La Pitie-Salpetriere Hospital in Paris, France. After returning to the United States, he served as Director of the Neurology Service at Albert Einstein College Hospital and was appointed the first Director of the Division of Neurology at Booth Memorial Medical Center, now known as New York Presbyterian Hospital-Queens.
