Dr. William G Larsen is a family medicine doctor in Charlotte, North Carolina, board certified in Family Medicine after training at East Carolina University - Brody School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at UCLA Santa Monica and was a Professor of Family Medicine at UCLA before returning to North Carolina. Dr. Larsen is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and has practiced at Northwest Family Physicians since its inception in May 2000.

He treats a wide range of chronic conditions including heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, chronic kidney disease and neurodegenerative disorders such as dementia and Parkinson's disease, along with mental health conditions like depression and anxiety. His practice encompasses preventive care through screenings for cancer, heart disease and metabolic disorders, as well as routine adult exams, vaccines and physical exams. Dr. Larsen also provides minor surgery, internal medicine and gynecology services across the age spectrum from pediatrics to geriatrics, and has a special interest in HIV care.
