Dr. Shaun J Grannis is a family medicine doctor in Indianapolis, Indiana, board certified in Clinical Informatics. He trained at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and completed graduate work in health services research and medical informatics at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, along with a National Library of Medicine Fellowship in Biomedical Informatics at Regenstrief Institute. He practices at Bell Flower Clinic, Indiana University Adolescent Medicine, High Performance Clinic, Indiana University School of Medicine, and Regenstrief Institute, and speaks English. Dr. Grannis collaborates with national and international public and population health stakeholders to advance technical infrastructure and data-sharing capabilities. His research focuses on improving discovery and decision support by developing and implementing innovative approaches for data integration, patient matching, and predictive modeling, including population health data frameworks that combine community and social determinants of health with clinical data. He has been at Regenstrief Institute since 2001, became Associate Director of the Clem McDonald Center for Biomedical Informatics in 2015, was appointed Director in 2017, and assumed the role of Vice President in 2019.
