Dr. Jonathan Waitman is an internal medicine doctor in New York, New York, board certified in Internal Medicine and Clinical Nutrition. He practices at NYU Langone Hospitals and speaks English. Dr. Waitman works closely with Dr. Louis Aronne, Director of the Center for Weight Management and Metabolic Clinical Research, and serves as the course director for the nutrition curriculum at Weill Cornell Medical College. He is also the Medical Director for Specialized Nutrition Support at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Weill-Cornell Medical Center. He attended Boston University, where he received his B.A. in Psychology, and then attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where he received his MD. He completed a three-year residency in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, and later completed a fellowship in clinical nutrition at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He has co-authored numerous articles on obesity.
