Dr. Navkiran K Shokar is a family medicine doctor in Austin, Texas, board certified in Family Medicine. She trained at University of Oxford Medical School and completed her Family Medicine Residency in Houston, Texas, and also holds an MPH from UTHealth Houston School of Public Health. Dr. Shokar practices at UT Medicine Primary Care Clinic and Central Texas Community Health Centers, and speaks English and Spanish.

Her practice centers on preventive care and patient education, with a focus on chronic disease management, cancer prevention and screening, and annual wellness visits. She is a professor and Chair of the Dell Medical School Department of Population Health at The University of Texas at Austin, and serves as Program Lead for the Cancer Prevention & Control Research Program and Associate Dean for Community Affairs for the Dell Medical School.
