Dr. Mitchell Douglas Hume, DMD, is a general dentist in Charlotte, North Carolina, practicing at Thomas S Layton DDS and Hume Family Dentistry. He graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1997, where he received the Dr. and Mrs. Harry Kazis Prize Fund in Crown and Bridge and the Alumni Clinical Proficiency in Restorative Dentistry award. After completing a hospital-based General Practice Residency at the Medical College of Georgia, he worked in cosmetic dentistry in Myrtle Beach before establishing his practice in Charlotte.
